How the Competition will look

SEASAC 2022 will be organized in two main stages those are: 1) qualifying rounds and 2) semi-finals and finals (both the semi-finals and finals being held over the same period).

The qualifying rounds will be conducted online and finals online or onsite, depending on the COVID19 pandemic. Decision on the format of semi-finals and finals will be made in January 2022.

Who is the Host?

We are pleased to announce that the host will be Bina Nusantara University, Indonesia.

Dates and Times

There are two main dates to diary.

    • The qualifying rounds will be. 15th – 17th February 2022
    • The semi-finals and finals will be. 23rd – 24th March 2022

Competition Language

Please note, this is an international competition and the competition language, for both participants and judges will be English.

Who is welcome?

The competition is targeted to students in South-East Asian universities, no limitations regarding major subject or study level (Bachelor/Master/Doctoral). University students from outside of the region will be by invitation. If you have not already indicated your interest, please do so now by emailing us at

All competitors will register as representatives of their universities, with a maximum of 2 competitor per university.

Registration will be opened in December 2021. There will be limited number of seats for competitorsOrganisers have a right to approve or reject registrations by taking geographical balance into account. Please register early!!

We encourage all interested South-East Asian universities can contact to express their prior interest towards the competition.

This is a great opportunity for professors, lecturers and business representatives to participate in the SEASAC 2022 competition as a judge, registration will open in December 2021.
